Strategic partners help us think big and big. We coordinate with them to articulate our bottom up approach, our entrepreneur’s requests and feedbacks,  with a long term action on infrastructure, training, human development or finance.

 

The European Commission leverage several initiatives targeting the Mediterranean with MedVentures : The Euro-Med working group on industrial cooperation, Europe Innova , Enterprise Europe Network EEN (DG Enterprise), The Mediterranean Innovation and Research Coordination Action – MIRA (DG Research). The MedVentures 2010/2011 project is partially funded by the European Commission through the Invest in Med project (DG DevCo)

An active cooperation has recently been launched with the European Investment Bank , and World Bank mainly with The IT1 program (Center for the Mediterranean Integration), which objectives are to improve the development of national innovation systems and financing mechanism in Mediterranean Partners countries

MedVentures coordinates its action with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) , and more precisely with the MENA OECD Investment Program

Contacts and pre-projects are ongoing with the African Development Bank to involve high-skilled diaspora around entrepreneurs projects in Euro-Med (Migration and Development program)

MedVentures is piloted by the ANIMA Investment network which coordinate business development actions with the MedAlliance consortium : Investment Promotion Agencies, Innovation and finance regional networks (members of ANIMA); Chambers of Commerce and Industry (members of Ascame and EUROCHAMBRES); Business Federations (members of BusinessMed); MedAlliance works closely with two key partners with a strong expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation support : The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and  GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation)
