| Step 1: applications (between April 15 and June 15, 2010) |
- High-growth start-ups from the South Mediterranean countries & looking to go international apply to
MedVentures 2010 :
- Start-ups projects will be proposed through the country coaches who are coordinating the MedVentures 2010 competition on national level). Entrepreneurs interested to apply are invited to contact them

| Step 2: Selection of the Best 100 start-ups (10 by country) (June 30) |
- Country coaches will choose the best 10 start-ups projects by country, by June 30, 2010. They will follow the proposed templates and selection criteria to review the project but are responsible for defining their own evaluation and selection process.
- They commit to a strict confidentiality on the data provided

| Step 3: Selection of the top 10 – Semi Finals (June 30-October 27) |
- The jury will study the 100 proposed business plans between June 30 and October 27, 2010. They commit to a strict confidentiality on the data provided.
- The jury will contact with the entrepreneurs and their coaches if they need to go further into details for the evaluation of the project, or to study potential partnerships and investments.
- The top 10 projects (1 per country) will finally be chosen by the Jury on October 27, during the Europe Innova conference, following the selection criteria.

| Step 4: Meeting with international investors & partners - Finals in Marseille (Dec 4, 2010) |
- The selected top 10 projects will pitch their project in front of a panel of 10 selected international investors and will benefit from :

Targeted meetings with selected international investors and partners during the business meetings |

- Out of the 10 finalists the selected 3 winners will benefit from

A prize (in kind or in cash, to be used for technical assistance missions) A detailed presentation of their projects during an international press campaign |
- All 100 MedVentures selected projects will also have the possibility to be connected with selected investors and partners and are warmly invited to the finals |
