SMS-GROUPS
IT/Media |
|
Best Young project |
Sms-Groups 1230 is created in 2007.
The service can simply be explained as the SMS version of widely known e-groups or Twitter and this mobile group text messaging service is unique in the way that it is launched by our Company for this first time not only in Turkey, but also in the World! SMS-Groups is supported by all of the GSM operators in Turkey – Turkcell, Avea and Vodafone with the short message service number 1230. Moreover it is the only VAS, that is supported by all GSM operators at the same time.
The model works in the way, where you can create your own SMS-groups and invite your friends to the groups. You can send short messages to your groups and hence to all of the members at any time, and any of the groups’ members can send messages to the groups instantly as well. You can create numerous groups and invite unlimited number of members.
Usually when a mobile service user sends out a message to several friends, he/she is the one to pay for all of the short messages. But the business model of SMS-Groups is unique, where everyone sending and receiving the messages are equally charged. A win-win business model, where users are able to instantly contact hundreds of pre-defined group members, regardless of their choice of Turkish mobile operators and at only a percentage of regular prices. This cost-effective mobile technology is preferred particularly by foundations, communities, universities, schools, alumni associations, institutions, celebrities and fan clubs, which like and prefer to communicate via their mobile phones.
In less than 3 years , SMS-Groups has achieved outstanding numbers in terms of user base and monthly text messaging volume; currently SMS-Groups 1230 Turkey has more than 400,000 members, 6.000 groups and 1 million short messages sent out every month.

ALKHAWARIZMY
IT/Media |
|
Best Culture project |
Initially, our developments have fostered the most competitive Arabic Search Engine (called KSearch©) utilizing NLP (Natural Language Processing) as its backbone. The search technology deployed solves problems related to the unique complexities of the Arabic language, which traditional search engines are unable to cater for. One very important point to note is that alKhawarizmy's technology is an embedded search technology which may be integrated into third party applications to search through databases or documents (e.g. in websites or in enterprises). The international market may utilize this embedded search technology in multi-lingual applications which include non-Arabic content (written in Latin text). In addition to the regional (Middle East) market, KSearch© would benefit companies developing international applications that include the Middle East market, as well as educational establishments involved with the Arabic language.
